Espresso

1. Pre-heat machine

In order to get the best out of your espresso maker, you’ll need to ensure that the entire machine is preheated. This can take up to 25 minutes for some machines, so get your machine warming up in advance!

2. measure & grind

The grind should be fine. Depending on if you're using your 1 scoop or 2 scoop espresso cup, will determine how much coffee you'll need to grind.

3. fill & tamp down

Fill your espresso cup close to the rim, and "tamp" down the grinds. A good rule to follow is tamp until the grounds stop settling, always ensuring that you have a level top. Then attach the espresso wand onto the machine.

4. pull the shot

Once your machine is fully warmed up start the machine. If you're using espresso cups, fill it full. If you're using your coffee cup, count for about 20-30 seconds. Or just by your preference.

5. steam milk

If you don't just want espresso, why not froth some milk! If your machine has a milk frother, or you have a seperate one add some to your espresso to make a latte or cappuccino.

6. enjoy

Now sit back, read a book, chat with a friend, or watch a show and enjoy your delicious brew!
